If 3A = 8B = 12C. Find the ratio of A : B : C ?

a) 3:8:12 b) 12:8:3 c) 1:2:3 d) 8:3:2 e) 2:3:8

    3A = 8B = 12C

    3A = 1 ie. A = 1/3
    8B = 1 ie. B = 1/8
    12C = 1 ie. C = 1/12

    Take LCM

    1/3 1/8 1/12

    Answer

    Answer and Explanation for Question no. 9

    Correct Answer is - 8 : 3 : 2
    Explanation : 3A=8B=12C
    Assume any value of 3A (Let Suppose 1)

    3A = 1, 8B = 1, 12C = 1 (Because all are equal)

    then A = 1/3, B = 1/8, C = 1/12

    So the Ratio of 1/3 : 1/8 : 1/12
    Take LCM of these which is 24
    Solve it and you will find 8 : 3 : 2
