Question of the Day No. 8

The product of two consecutive even numbers is 2808. Find the sum of those numbers.

a) 108   b) 106   c) 104   d) 112   e) 102

    Answer and Explanation for Question no. 8

    Correct Answer is 106 (52 + 54)
    Explanation : Product of Nos. is 2808
    Add 1 to the Product (2808+1 = 2809)

    Square root of 2809 is 53.
    53 is middle no of both nos.
    so the Nos. are 52 & 54 and
    sum of Numbers is 106
